The School and Role

We are seeking a reliable and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 6-year-old pupil with global developmental delay within the school’s SEN provision. The role involves supporting learning activities set by the class teacher and using sensory strategies and movement breaks to support regulation. The successful candidate will build a positive relationship, maintain clear boundaries, and provide consistent support to help the pupil gradually increase their time in school.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children
