SEN Teaching Assistant – Bury

We are seeking a caring, resilient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bury.
In this role, you will support children with a range of complex needs, helping them access structured learning, develop key skills and feel safe, valued and understood in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of personalised, differentiated learning activities based on individual SEN profiles and EHCP outcomes.
• Build warm, trusting relationships to promote emotional regulation, engagement and positive behaviour.
• Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with autism, SEMH, communication needs, sensory needs or developmental delays.
• Implement behaviour plans, sensory strategies and therapeutic approaches as directed by SENCOs and teachers.
