SEN Tutor
Durham, £25+ ph

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced, passionate and patient Special Education Needs Tutor to work 1-to-1 with young people who are waiting for a specialist school placement. Within this role, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1-to-1 tailored lessons as a means of alternate education. One of your aims will be to support and re-engage a pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine, continue their educational development and support in the absence of a suitable school placement. As part of the role, you may aid the young person in accessing the community and learning life skills. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic and understanding.

As a Tutor, you will be a form of alternative education whilst a suitable placement is found for this young person. Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly...
