Role overview
A Barnet Primary School is seeking an experienced and committed SENCO to lead and coordinate provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities across the school. The post holder will be a qualified teacher with the skills, knowledge, and strategic vision to ensure that all pupils with SEND receive high-quality support and make strong progress.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead on the strategic development and day-to-day operation of the school’s SEND policy and provision.

  • Identify pupils with SEND, coordinate assessments, and ensure appropriate support and interventions are in place.

  • Oversee the SEND register, maintain accurate records, and monitor the progress and outcomes of pupils with SEND.
