SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with exceptional skills in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques? If so, Tradewind is looking for someone like you to join their team in a behavioural support role.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience in Team Teach, Pru, alternative provision , or as a support worker in a residential children's home . You will also have either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in teaching support or a related field.

In this role, you will:

• Work with selected pupils outside of the classroom situation , including those excluded from or not working to a normal timetable.
• You will develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with pupils to help them agree on plans and targets to move forward.
