A specialist SEND setting is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively with learning in Durham. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs

• Implementing positive behaviour strategies

• Creating calm, structured environments

• Working closely with SEND and pastoral teams

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in SEND, SEMH or care settings

• Calm, resilient and consistent approach

• Confidence managing challenging behaviour

• Strong relationship-building skills
