Job Description
Join Salfords Primary School as a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant for two days per week (Thurs & Fri) on a fixed-term basis until August 2027.
Your opportunity
We are looking for an exceptionalSEND Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive school. This role requires previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a one-to-one capacity, supporting children with additional needs. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for inclusion and experience working with neurodivergent children who are motivated and excited to be active members of our school community, but who sometimes need intensive support to navigate social interactions and regulate their emotions.
Your role will be pivotal in helping children feel they belong in our school and thrive both socially and academically.
What We're Looking For
Good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or 1:1 Teaching Assistant
