Job Description
Axcis Education are working closely to support an all-through specialist school in Torbay for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The special school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant, to start after February half term, or as soon as possible, on a full-time basis. The school hours are 8.55-15.00. The rate of pay for this position is between £13.69-£15.50p/h, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
The school currently have almost 200 pupils enrolled and have 20 classrooms for pupils in EYFS to Key Stage 5. The school has state of the art facilities to support the ongoing development of every pupil’s EHCP need, providing a safe, nurturing, and happy environment to allow pupils to flourish. The school provide a child-centered curriculum, which provides breadth and balance, while preparing pupils for challenges they will face in adulthood.
