Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant specialist primary school in County Durham. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a positive impact in an inclusive and supportive educational environment. You will be working with children whom have profound and multiple learning difficulties, and/or working with pupils diagnosed with autism. The role is to start immediately and will be full-time 8:30-16:00 Monday to Friday, with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Assist students with learning activities, ensuring they are fully included in lessons.
