Job Description
Aspire People is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in the M11 area of Manchester, who are seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in EYFS and KS1.
This school places a strong emphasis on early intervention, communication development, and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping young learners feel safe, supported, and confident within the classroom.
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
* Supporting children with ASD, speech and language needs, and social communication difficulties
* Assisting with structured routines and sensory-based activities
* Supporting learning through play and early phonics/numeracy activities
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
