New Directions is currently recruiting for a Teaching assistant who specialises in ASC & Complex Needs for secondary aged learners at special school in Trafford. This is a temp to perm role, meaning it will lead to a permanent contract.

The School:

  • Strong senior leadership team who create a supportive environment to work in
  • Specialist provision that caters for learners with ASC, PMLD & Complex Needs
  • Small tailored classes catered to the specific needs of the learner

    • The Role:

  • 1 to 1 support with a student who is non-verbal
  • Engaging pupil in continuous provision – tailored to their needs
  • Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm

    • The Candidate:

  • Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with SEND learners is essential: ideally with Complex Needs
