SEND Teaching Assistant Scunthorpe

Job description

We are working closely with a good SEND school (Ofsted rating, 2023) in Scunthorpe who require several Teaching Assistants due to exciting expansion and increasing pupil numbers.
This is to start asap, long-term and will become permanent for the right people.
The role is full-time, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm with pay rates of up to £100 per day.


The school support pupils aged 11-16 years with special educational needs and complex learning difficulties ranging from mild to severe. Some pupils have physical needs and challenges too so some personal and intimate care may be required.

The pupils are divided into three main groups, with the successful Teaching Assistants beginning their career in the mild group which is most similar to a mainstream setting and pupils.
