SENDCo


Do you have experience as a SENDCo, preferably within a SEND/SEMH setting, and are ready for your next challenge?


Part of a well-established group of independent, specialist schools, this SEMH Provision in Bushbury is seeking a SENDCo on a contractual basis immediately.


The school:

  • Independent SEMH Provision
  • Caters for children age 11-16 years with ASC and complex SEMH needs
  • High staff-student ratio, small class sizes (max. 6 pupils)
  • Trauma-informed practice, nurture-style teaching
  • Curriculum tailored to individual student needs
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • £250-280 per day DOE. (ongoing contract, min. 3 months)


Person specification:

  • SENDCo qualification is essential
  • Experience working as SENDCo, or Assistant/Trainee SENDCo with solid understanding of the role and responsibilities
