Job Description

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for creating opportunities, driving new sales, and managing the sales pipeline within a defined territory. Their primary role is to develop enterprise-level relationships to close High-Value opportunities in the financial services and FinTech industry. This position will report to the Financial Institution (FI) Sales Manager of FirsTech, a subsidiary of First Busey Corporation (FBC).

Additional Duties:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets
  • Develop strategies to drive sales in a defined territory by identifying, qualifying, and managing execution of new business opportunities
  • Lead identified opportunities through a defined sales process, from lead qualification to successful deal closure
  • Build pipeline for future sales opportunities
  • Work with the management team to develop strategies that generate or progress pipeline within the defined territory
