Job Description
Strategy seeks an Account Executive to lead strategic sales across enterprise accounts in the ASEAN region, especially Indonesia . Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business into prospects and existing accounts. This role is focused on new business development and individual contribution with quota responsibility.
Your Focus
- Drive complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles, presenting Strategy’s value to C-level stakeholders through strategic, value-based engagements
- Prospect, develop, and close new business, creating satisfied and referenceable customers
- Research customer environments to develop impact models, account plans, and ROI/TCO models
- Manage all sales process stages, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services
- Work with Inside Sales to develop territory and account plans to ensure a healthy pipeline and overachievement
- Manage sales pipeline to balance prospects, opportunities, and proposals
- Balance long-term and short-term goals to maximize revenue
- Meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Deepen knowledge of Strategy’s BI products and applications
- Position solutions via strategic, value-based selling, including business cases and ROI analysis
- Coordinate industry events and user groups to generate interest
- Follow the MEDDPICC sales methodology at all stages
- Identify and manage risks, report appropriately
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports using CRM tools
- Leverage partner relationships to increase value and revenue
Requirements
- Extensive quota-carrying sales experience of software to large enterprises
- Consistent over-quota sales performance
- Proven engagement with senior stakeholders on complex IT and business opportunities
- Experience in prospecting, driving, and closing enterprise sales cycles
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence, AI, Data Analytics, CRM, ERP, Cloud software
- Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger, Sandler
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and be accountable
- Understanding of ROI and TCO principles
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong storytelling and customer-centric skills
- Motivated to succeed and achieve high rewards
- Degree or equivalent experience
