Senior Account Executive, Western Canada

OpenText is hiring a Senior Account Executive for Western Canada. This is a remote position but requires residency in Western Canada. The role focuses on enterprise accounts and delivering OpenText information management solutions across cloud, hybrid, or on-premise environments. You will work with senior decision-makers to identify opportunities and tailor OpenText solutions that address complex business challenges. You will be part of a collaborative team of technical experts, product specialists, and customer success professionals to ensure success, growth, and long-term customer value.

What The Role Offers

  • Direct ownership of sales strategy and execution for enterprise accounts across Western Canada.
  • Deep engagement with stakeholders to understand business challenges and recommend innovative EIM solutions.
  • Support from a dedicated internal team including solution consultants, product experts, and marketing.
  • Ability to lead large, consultative deals spanning cloud, hybrid, or on-premise solutions.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful enterprise software sales experience, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with C-level and senior executives in a consultative sales capacity.
  • Experience selling complex cloud, hybrid, or on-premise enterprise solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and intellectually curious with a drive to innovate.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems strongly preferred.
