The Senior Accountant supports a loan-servicing-focused SBA interim construction lending organization. This role is responsible for accurate financial reporting and the ongoing accounting and servicing of an interim commercial loan portfolio, with emphasis on borrower invoicing, participant reporting, and warehouse line activity. The position partners closely with servicing, capital, and operations teams to ensure accurate interest calculations, timely statements, and strong internal controls across the life of the loan.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Perform ongoing accounting for serviced SBA 7(a) and 504 interim construction loans, including interest accruals, interest reserves, and payoffs Record, reconcile, and monitor warehouse line...
