Senior Accountant - Budget & Forecasting

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Budget & Forecasting, the Senior Accountant supports the development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement of budget, planning, forecasting, financial systems, financial reporting and, analytical functions in accordance with Surrey Schools policies, collective agreements, and statutory requirements.The Senior Accountant will support and coordinate the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of all facets of the budget development process, including the planning, monitoring, forecasting functions, and all other fiscally related duties in support of Surrey Schools’ strategic budget development initiatives. *This is a term assignment for 2 years* ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development, implementation, maintenance, and testing of systems to collect, analyze, monitor, develop budgets, forecasts, and financial data in a complex and fast-paced environment.Monitors District wide financial performance and stat...
