Senior Accountant

A client in the Burlington, Ontario area is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations for Canada offices, partnering with location managers and stakeholders across 80+ sites. The company is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, but this individual will see accounting operations across all of Canada. This individual will drive accuracy and timeliness in financial close activities, strengthen controls, and champion automation and continuous improvement to scale our multi‑location operations.

• Conduct general-ledger account reconciliations, verify data accuracy, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel.
• Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes, including preparing assigned journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, accruals, and maintaining operational management accounts.
