Senior Accountant

Propell (Alberta) Ltd is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to support business decisions.

Reporting to the Controller, this role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys ownership of the month-end process, financial analysis, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Manage ERP integrations and month-end close processes
• Prepare KPI, working capital, and management reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with year-end working papers and audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with ASPE, tax regulations, and government filings (GST, PST, WCB, EHT)
