Senior Accountant

Are you interested in living in the province's sunniest city? Our client, based out of Cranbrook, the largest city in the BC's Kootenay region and BC's sunniest city, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their growing group of businesses.

The Senior Accountant will oversee core accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, reconciliations, and month/year-end close, manage cash flow, banking, internal controls, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring efficient workflows and timely processing. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and support the 5-year strategic plan. Serve as primary contact for external auditors, ensuring successful audits and tax filings. Prepare variance analyses and ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
