Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for undertaking the preparation of CSRS 4200, Compilation Engagement Reports (CERs) and corporate tax returns and trusts, including review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, year‑end financial information preparation and will be an asset to the Accounting team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The position requires you to report to the Senior Client Manager and Production Manager.
• Your major role is to process and complete annual financial statements and prepare income tax returns.
• You will work with your Senior Client Manager and Production Manager, as they will help train you in technical knowledge through review of your work.
• From time to time you may be asked to review and check less qualified and experienced team members’ work and this could include bookkeeping, accounting or tax work.
