This contract to permanent position requires an experienced detail-oriented individual to assist with accounting preparation/review activities, oversee payroll operations for a large workforce, and assisting with other miscellaneous accounting & finance needs. The role involves collaboration with multiple departments to deliver both accounting & payroll deliverables. Responsibilities: • Complete necessary month-end close activities and reconciliations. • Use foundation of GAAP accounting to improve Payroll processes for both accuracy and efficiency. • Process payroll cycles weekly and bi-weekly for over 2,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Handle complex payroll tasks such as garnishments, deductions, bonuses, and manual checks. • Set up and manage direct deposits, ensuring smooth payment processes. • Support accounting team on any outsid...
