Senior Actuarial Analyst

Overview

Accountable for analyzing and reviewing all ad hoc and regular reports such as profitability studies and estimate studies of IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) reserve estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze regular and ad hoc actuarial reports, including IBNR estimates and profitability studies.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to actuarial assistants.
• Review and finalize reports and memos before submission to senior management.
• Plan and oversee daily operations and resource allocation.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Support team development through mentoring and training.
• Escalate issues and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Qualifications

• College graduate of 4- or 5-year program, preferably BS Math or Statistics.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience....
