Sky BlackBox | Senior | Remote (India Only) | Part-Time Contract (Potential for Full-Time)
Sky BlackBox is an Australian cybersecurity startup redefining Vendor Risk Management (VRM) through intelligent automation and real-time insights. Our platform helps businesses assess, monitor, and collaborate with third-party vendors securely, accurately, and at scale.
We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to lead the design and implementation of AI capabilities across our platform. This role is open to candidates based in India only and is ideal for someone experienced in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and large language models, who is ready to contribute to a growing SaaS product with global reach.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build AI-driven features that improve accuracy, speed, and intelligence in vendor risk workflows
Evaluate and implement the most suitable AI tools, APIs, and platforms based on each use case (Azure AI preferred)
Integrate AI solutions with the existing SaaS backend and front-end components
Develop internal systems for learning from user input and improving over time
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, and product leads to deliver scalable, secure solutions
Contribute to technical decisions and roadmap planning for new AI-powered capabilities
Requirements
5+ years of experience in AI or NLP engineering, including work with production-level systems
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with NLP and ML libraries such as HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain, or Sentence Transformers
Experience with vector databases and similarity search (e.g. FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate)
Familiarity with Azure AI Services or equivalent platforms (e.g. OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
Understanding of integrating AI models with SaaS architecture and APIs
Strong awareness of data security and privacy requirements
