Summary

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with + years of total experience, including + years in AI/ML development. This role focuses heavily on hands-on building, AI workflow development, and Voice/LLM solutions—while also leading junior AI engineers.

The ideal candidate must be able to clearly explain how they build things, walk through their development process, and translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.



Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

Hands-On Development

  • Build and optimize Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG workflows, prompt engineering, and automation tools.

  • Develop and integrate Voice AI solutions (real-time voice agents, IVR bots, voice cloning) with telephony platforms like Twilio, Vonage, or Dialogflow CX.

  • Clearly explain end-to-end development steps, decisions, and implementation choices.

    • Lightweight Architecture & System Design

    (Without requiring deep enterprise architecture experience)

  • Design basic AI workflows and system interactions.

  • Create simple diagrams or data flows to explain how components connect.

    • Testing & Validation

  • Build testing processes for LLM workflows, voice agents, and automation pipelines.

  • Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve accuracy and reliability.

    • SDLC & Agile Delivery

  • Work through all phases of the SDLC—requirements, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.

  • Document processes and explain how work is delivered.

    • Leadership & Mentorship

    Lead Junior AI Engineers

  • Supervise and guide junior AI engineers on LLM prompts, workflows, integrations, and Voice AI tools.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide clear technical direction.

    • Mentorship

  • Train junior engineers on AI tools, best practices, and problem-solving techniques.

    • Business & Project Responsibilities

    Requirement Gathering

  • Work with business teams to understand needs and desired outcomes.

  • Ask clarifying questions to define clear requirements.

    • Translate Requirements into Practical AI Solutions

  • Convert business needs into simple technical plans, workflows, and development tasks.

  • Ensure solutions directly align with the business problem.

    • Project Management

  • Break down tasks into timelines and deliverables.

  • Manage day-to-day project execution and track progress.

  • Provide weekly updates to leadership and communicate risks early.

    • Requirements Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.

    • Experience

  • Minimum years experience developing LLM/Generative AI solutions.

  • Experience building Voice AI applications (voice bots, voice cloning, telephony integrations).

  • Hands-on experience across SDLC phases.

  • Ability to walk through HOW you build AI features, including tools, reasoning, and debugging steps.

  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.

    • Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (FastAPI a plus).

  • Experience with AI tools such as , Windsurf, Cursor, and LLMs like OpenAI, Mistral, Claude.

  • Familiarity with Voice AI tools (ElevenLabs, , Azure Cognitive Voice).

  • Basic knowledge of telephony APIs (Twilio, Vonage, Dialogflow CX).

  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD basics.
