Senior Algorithm Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a
Senior Algorithm Engineer
to join a department working on advanced defence systems.

This role performs the duties of algorithm design, system analysis, and verification, and reports to the senior engineering leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in both detailed design and higher architectural levels.
• Influence the current and future direction for design and testing of complex systems.
• Work with specialist algorithms, real-time architecture, and complex equipment including RF & IR seekers, inertial sensors, actuators, propulsion (turbojets, ramjets, and thrust-vectored rockets).
• Collaborate across departments, directorates, and national boundaries on multiple programmes at various stages of their lifecycle.
• Contribute from early research and concept stages through to full-scale development and guided flight trials.
