Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant with expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL to design, develop, and optimize data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in data modeling, and the ability to deliver actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations and thought partnerships to clients, conduct leadership and stakeholder interviews, run workshops, define KPIs, develop storylines, create KPIs for data source mapping, develop wireframes, develop solutions, guide junior team members, develop advanced immersive and interactive dashboards in Power BI, perform UAT, deploy to production servers, and create pre-sale materials related to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Improve dashboard performance and suggest efficient data transformations for creating dashboards.
  • Provide technical advice on business issues and data-driven decision-making.
  •  Oversee the maintenance and optimization of dashboards already built.
  • Address data quality issues, such as data gaps or biases in underlying data sets, and assess their impact on reporting capabilities.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all complex query resolutions related to Power BI, Fabric, and SQL.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ingestion processes using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis Core Competencies
  •  Expertise in data visualization, data analysis, and automation.
  •  Data visualization: Power BI (mandatory), familiarity with other BI tools is a plus.
  •  Data analysis: SQL and scripting languages (Python preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric for data integration and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • About 3–5 years of relevant work experience in BI and data analytics.
  •  “Can-do” attitude and the ability to take initiatives and adapt to changes.
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Over three years of experience in Power BI development (DAX, Power Query, Service Administration).
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Power BI certification(s).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric pipelines and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
