**Job overview and responsibilities**
**Core Purpose** : Provide analytical rigor and strategic decision support to US-based leaders by sizing opportunities, evaluating initiatives, and delivering clear, insight-driven recommendations through strong asynchronous partnership.
**Analytical & Technical Skills**
+ Advanced SQL skills with ability to independently extract, validate, and reconcile operational datasets
+ Experience building **automated dashboards** (Tableau / Power BI / Looker) with minimal manual upkeep
+ Experience automating data workflows using **Power Automate**
+ Strong analytical modeling skills (scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, trade-off evaluation)
+ Ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data and clearly document assumptions
+ Comfort operating across multiple data sources (ops, CX, financial, policy)
**Strategic & Problem-Solving Skills**
+ Structured problem-solving mindset (hypothesis-driven, logically rigorous)
+ Ability to **size opportunities** (impact, cost, operational feasibility)
+ Experience building **decision-support analyses** (not just reporting)
+ Can evaluate initiative success using leading and lagging indicators
+ Ability to translate data insights into clear recommendations and next steps
**Operational & Requirements Skills**
+ Ability to understand and model real-world operational processes
+ Experience documenting:
+ Current-state processes
+ Future-state designs
+ Business and metric requirements
+ Ability to assess whether proposed solutions will scale operationally
+ Strong attention to policy adherence and risk considerations
**Communication & Collaboration (Async India to US)**
+ Exceptional written communication skills; able to produce **exec-ready artifacts**
+ Experience working with US-based stakeholders in an **asynchronous model**
+ Ability to clearly articulate insights, assumptions, risks, and open questions
+ Comfortable receiving feedback with limited real-time interaction
+ Strong documentation and version-control discipline

**Qualifications**
**What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):**
+ Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
+ 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the airline or logistics industry
+ Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
+ Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
+ Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
