Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules

I have partnered with an expanding semiconductor company in Munich and due to their continued success are looking to hire a Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules .

The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, definition and applications engineering of next-generation SiC Technology and molded power modules for automotive traction inverters.

Other responsibilities include:

Motivating and mentoring junior members of the team

Development of power loss modelling software for wide band gap semiconductors

Driving thermal measurements, thermal efficiency and EMI

To be considered for this Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Power Modules you will need a degree in electrical and electronics engineering or a related discipline and a proven background in the following:

Broad knowledge of semiconductor applications

Expert Knowledge in SiC-MOSFETs

Good understanding of converter topologies

Circuit troubleshooting.

Familiarity with the use of Matlab/Simulink, Altium, Labview, and other simulation software packages

Must have the ability to understand and Gate driver circuits of IGBT and SIC MOSFETs
