The Role
you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Assist business representatives with the identification, assessment and documentation of new business requirements and system improvements. This includes those required for implementations into new entities and locations, and modifications for software upgrades.
Formulation, documentation and agreement of appropriate business solutions for consideration and approval by GBS Global Process Leads. In formulating solutions the Business Analyst should draw upon their operational experience, and be in close consultation with Oracle Functional Consultants (also known as Functional Leads or Functional Architects) and relevant representatives from the business.
For proposed solutions analyse impact of change and provide an estimate of implementation effort, operational costs and overall value to business, or where already provided by the business - a validation of those estimates.
Drawing on functional and technical expertise to formulate and agree appropriate business solutions for consideration and approval by IT and Business users. Working collaboratively with broader IT and business representatives to ensure quality outcomes.
Business cases for larger initiatives will need to be developed for senior stakeholder approval as required and will need to include business and IT inputs.
Assess impacts of improvements /changes across multiple lines and applications by liaising with business process owners and application custodians.

Coordinate/manage data maintenance activities on behalf of the businessEngage with senior location and regional stakeholdersAnalyse impact of proposed actionsClearance of Exceptions (legacy/aged)
Review and document business requirements and coordinate with Application Management team to incorporate into implementation process and location documentation. Coordinate between implementation and business users to ensure appropriate approvals for variation from design are received Confirm new implementation meets Global standards by undertaking testing as part of UAT and undertaking any production checks as requested by Corporate Finance.
Escalation point for level 1 and level 2 on day to day issue resolution. Approval point for core system change

No direct budget responsibility, however the role must consider cost / benefit of the activities under each project
Decisions have a significant impact on the outcome of process changes involving the ERP system functionality. Technical consulting advice provided to the Corporate Accounting Assurance Manager and the Finance Controllers have a significant impact on business decisions.
