Senior Aquatic Ecologist

Overview

Based in North Bay , the Senior Aquatic Ecologist will report to the Environmental Department Lead and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on environmental assessment, species at risk, and aquatic studies. This is a new position. This role is a contract position with the possibility of conversion to full time. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000.

What You’ll Do

• Design and perform effective aquatic habitat and aquatic biota surveys to meet applicable regulatory or project-specific requirements
• Apply professional knowledge of industry and multi-disciplinary requirements as they pertain to a project
• Recommend project-specific procedures and methods based on industry standards and professional experience
