Job Description
Ohana Development is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect with 15 to 20 years of proven expertise in architectural design and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a distinguished portfolio that includes luxury residential villas and high-end developments.
This role involves leading design strategies from concept to completion, ensuring that every space we create is both functional and inspiring. You will work closely with the design team, consultants, and clients to develop innovative solutions that reflect our commitment to excellence, luxury, and architectural integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership
Lead the creation of innovative, high-end architectural concepts focused on luxury design, spatial harmony, and material sophistication.
Develop and present compelling design ideas through sketches, 3D models, mood boards, and technical drawings.
Project Planning & Development
Translate client briefs into refined architectural layouts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency.
Prepare comprehensive sets of architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
Material Selection & Detailing
Specify high-quality materials, finishes, and fixtures aligned with luxury market standards.
Oversee the development of material boards and architectural specifications.
Documentation & Drawing Production
Produce and review construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.
Ensure all drawings are accurate, code-compliant, and suitable for execution.
Execution Oversight
Supervise the execution of design intent during construction phases, maintaining alignment with design quality and specifications.
Resolve on-site challenges and ensure timely delivery of high-standard results.
Collaboration & Coordination
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design execution.
Engage regularly with clients, suppliers, and project managers to ensure consistent alignment.
Client Engagement
Lead design presentations and workshops with clients to capture vision and provide solutions.
Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment.
Core Competencies:
Architectural Vision: Exceptional design sensibility with a refined aesthetic for luxury villas and residential architecture.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of architectural codes, construction systems, and detailing techniques.
Execution Experience: Extensive knowledge in site execution and contractor coordination.
Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (mandatory), SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and 3D visualization tools.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead design teams, mentor junior staff, and present ideas confidently to stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Deep understanding of proportion, materiality, and design consistency.
Time Management: Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
Experience: 15–20 years of professional experience, primarily in luxury residential design, construction coordination, and detailed architectural development.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Lebanese and international building standards and local market practices is an asset.
