About Us Rhizome is an International Architecture and Interior Design Practice based in Sydney and Gurugram. We Specialize in Hotels, Resorts, Real Estate Developments and Luxury Residences. We are working with brands like Marriott, Hyatt, Taj, Radisson and Khyber. Our recent hospitality projects include Marriott Resort - Jim Corbett, ITC Welcome Katra, Marriott Resort - Chikmanglur and various others.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Architect with 4–8 years of experience who brings strong architectural knowledge, creative imagination, and an enthusiastic approach to design.

The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in delivering high-profile commercial and hospitality projects, guiding teams from concept to execution while ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design from concept to completion for hotel and commercial projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers for seamless execution
  • Develop and present design proposals using 2D & 3D visualizations
  • Prepare and review detailed construction drawings and documentation
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and team members
  • Conduct site visits and oversee construction to maintain design intent and quality
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 4–8 years of professional experience (minimum 3 years in a senior/lead role preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes
  • Creative mindset with strong visualization and conceptual skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office
  • Experience managing clients, budgets, and project schedules
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles (LEED certification is a plus)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
