About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Assessment Officer where you'll coordinate and lead exploration program assessments of sensitive and complex nature in accordance with legislative requirements.

In this role you will:

• Coordinate and lead the assessment of complex applications and programs related to the mineral resources sector and any other areas deemed relevant.
• Provide leadership and mentorship in relation to sensitive or complex assessments.
• Manage assessments through the legislated process, engaging industry, Government technical experts and community as required.
