Qualification: LLB (preferences will be given to candidates with CA/ CS/ CMA / MBA finance)
Law Graduate with a strong academic track record from a known Law College like NLU / DU / Symbiosis / GLC / NMIMS or from equivalent & recognised colleges like these.
Job Description:
· Looking for GST Senior Associate candidates to handle GST litigation matters exclusively.
· The role involves managing client relationships, drafting replies to notices, and preparing appeals and writ petitions under GST law, as well as addressing similar issues.
· Senior Associate would involve handling a team of 2-4 associates.
· Open to travel across India for client litigation before various forums (departmental authorities/Tribunal/High Courts)
· Be flexible and available for working on weekends depending on urgent work requirement
· Coordination, communication and planning across in house and outsourced attorneys who are handling the matter
· Preparing briefs for Senior Advocates
· Assisting the client in responding to the department during the course of enquiry, investigation, search and audits
· Executes the work on a multiple client base. Assumes independent responsibility specially for smaller clients
· Develops rapport with client legal, tax and finance team
· Begins to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to senior
· Networks internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact the clients
· Stays abreast with the latest development in GST law
· Basic to advanced knowledge of Excel (V lookup, H lookup, Pivot tables, reconciliation)

• Proactive, reliable and with an attention to details
