Senior Associate - IT & Infra

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining premise infrastructure systems. The role requires minimum 3-5 years of total experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Linux server, Windows server and MS SQL Server administration, networking, system monitoring, and L2 incident management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Windows server, Linux server and MS SQL Server across on-premises environments.
   
2. Maintain and optimize virtual machines, storage solutions, and application services across on-premises environments.
   
3. Collaborate with IT and networking teams to support system hardening, security compliance, and identity/access management (AD, RBAC, Managed Identities).
   
4. Hands on for Windows OS Clustering, MS SQL Server Cluster setup.
   
5. Perform routine maintenance including patching, updates, and backups.
   
6. Troubleshoot and resolve L2 technical issues, escalating complex problems to L3 teams as required.
   
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders
   
8. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives
   

Required Skills & Experience 

• About 3-5 years of overall IT/infrastructure experience, including 1–2 years in a dedicated support role.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise with Linux server, Windows server and MS SQL Server administration.
  
• Experience supporting on-premises environments.
  
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication skills with the ability to document procedures and collaborate within teams.
  

Nice to have 

• Solid understanding and hands on networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, network security).
  

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  
• Certifications such as RHCE, or CCNA are considered an advantage.
