The Opportunity

We are working with a leading global warranty & indemnity (W&I) insurance Broker, seeking to hire a talented Senior Associate to join their Milan office. This is a rare opportunity for a Lawyer with strong transactional experience to transition into a dynamic, client-facing role within the insurance sector.

The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Work closely with clients, insurers and law firms to structure and negotiate W&I insurance solutions for high-value M&A transactions
  • Provide expert legal and commercial advice, supporting clients across a range of industries
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to deliver seamless cross-border solutions
  • Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted Advisor throughout the transaction process

    • Candidate Profile

    We are looking for:

  • A qualified Lawyer in Italy with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm
  • Strong background in M&A, private equity, or corporate transactions
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to build rapport and influence senior clients
  • Fluency in Italian and English is essential; additional languages will be an advantage
