Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) – Fintech

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong automation testing experience across API and Web UI for fintech products. You’ll work with modern tools like REST Assured, Playwright, and Cucumber , and help adopt AI-powered testing tools to improve quality and speed.
What You’ll Do
Automate backend API tests using REST Assured
Automate web UI tests using Playwright
Create and maintain Cucumber BDD feature files
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile/Scrum
Use or evaluate AI-driven testing tools for smarter test execution and analysis
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in QA / Automation Testing
Strong hands-on experience with:
REST Assured
Playwright
Cucumber (BDD)
Programming experience in Java or Java Script/Type Script
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.)
AI in Test Automation (Strong Plus)
Exposure to AI-powered testing tools , such as:
Applitools (Visual AI testing)
Mabl , Functionize , Test.ai
Report Portal (AI-based test analytics)
Understanding of:
Self-healing automation
Intelligent test prioritization
AI-assisted failure analysis
Nice to Have
Fintech / Banking domain experience
Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Performance or security testing exposure
