Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SDET with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Java . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and ensuring high quality across web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java
  • Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites for web applications
  • Actively participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test design activities
  • Execute automated test cases as part of CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures
  • Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as RestAssured or similar
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with developers for resolution
  • Ensure test coverage across different browsers and environments
  • Review automation code and enforce best practices, coding standards, and reusability
  • Contribute to test metrics, reporting, and continuous quality improvement


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
  • Good understanding of Maven/Gradle for build and dependency management
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals (STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques)
  • Experience with API automation testing (RestAssured)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar


Good to Have

  • Experience with SQL and database validation
  • Exposure to cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
