Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SDET with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Java . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and ensuring high quality across web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver and Java
Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites for web applications
Actively participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test design activities
Execute automated test cases as part of CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures
Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured or similar
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with developers for resolution
Ensure test coverage across different browsers and environments
Review automation code and enforce best practices, coding standards, and reusability
Contribute to test metrics, reporting, and continuous quality improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver
Experience with automation frameworks such as Test NG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
Good understanding of Maven/Gradle for build and dependency management
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals (STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques)
Experience with API automation testing (Rest Assured)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar
Good to Have
Experience with SQL and database validation
Exposure to cloud testing platforms (Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
