Senior Automation Tester in Java (Salesforce)

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven **Senior Automation Tester** with expertise in Salesforce and Java to join our team.
The role involves ensuring the successful migration of a Loyalty Platform to Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, emphasizing test automation for APIs and UI.
**Responsibilities**
- Define API test strategies and automated test scenarios using Groovy and Spock
- Create and maintain automated regression test suites to support efficient migration and updates
- Partner with development and QA teams to determine testable requirements and maximize coverage
- Leverage Tosca to automate UI tests, ensuring user interface accuracy and stability
- Maintain and refine Postman test collections when manual suite testing support is needed
- Evaluate test results, pinpoint defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues within Agile sprints
- Use CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker to integrate automated tests into the pipeline
- Offer domain expertise in Salesforce testing and align test cases with business requirements
- Enhance existing automation frameworks to boost performance and usability across ongoing development cycles
- Document testing processes, strategies, and results to provide transparency and support team alignment
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation with a focus on Salesforce and related technologies
- Proficiency in Groovy, Spock, and Selenium for automation purposes
- Skills in API testing, including tools like Postman and frameworks such as REST Assured
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Gradle for test automation integration
- Understanding of middleware and database systems such as SOQL, SQL, and Oracle RDBMS
- Competency in Agile Development while staying adaptable to evolving priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities suited for dynamic work environments
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Allure Framework, MuleSoft, and Rally Software
- Background in Salesforce Fundamentals, Tricentis Tosca, and qTest
- Expertise in Java 17, Gradle, and sophisticated test strategies
- Understanding of SOQL, Oracle RDBMS, and REST Assured
- Capability to conduct code reviews and deliver scalable solutions
