Senior back-end developer

Position Summary:
At Solique, we are at the forefront of the AI revolution, dedicated to building innovative tools
that harness the power of Large Language Models (LLMs). We are looking for a Back-End
Engineer who specializes in Python and has experience in building scalable and high
performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will work on developing REST APIs,
database management, and server-side logic, ensuring seamless communication between the
front-end and backend. You will play a crucial role in architecting solutions that are secure,
efficient, and optimized for performance.
Functional Responsibilities:
Backend Development & API Design
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance REST APIs
using Fast API.
- Implement robust and secure authentication and authorization
mechanisms.
- Ensure seamless data flow and communication between frontend and
backend services.
Database & Performance Optimization
- Work with SQL databases (Postgre SQL, etc.), including writing optimized
queries and managing database schemas.
- Implement data storage solutions that ensure high availability, performance,
and scalability.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues proactively.
Server-Side Logic & Security
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Python.
- Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and prevent
vulnerabilities.
- Handle server-side logic to support business requirements efficiently.
Monitoring & Analytics
- Implement monitoring tools to track application performance and system
health.
- Set up logging mechanisms for better debugging and system observability.
- Use analytics to optimize application performance and database efficiency.
General Engineering Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure seamless API integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, frameworks, and best
practices.
Personal Attributes & Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to debug, optimize, and scale backend applications effectively.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Fast API, SQL (Postgre SQL), and REST API development.
- Familiarity with Data Science, Machine learning or AI is an added advantage.
