Senior Backend Developer (Colyseus/Node.js)

We are searching for an experienced & proactive Senior Backend Developer (Colyseus/Node.js) to join the foundational team for an already launched, skill-based betting website.

Key Focus Areas

• Review and refactor our existing game server codebase (built on (Colyseus/Node.js)), identifying architectural improvements for better scalability, stability, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize the low-latency backend for real-time multiplayer game sessions (WebSockets), implementing authoritative server architecture, game state synchronization, player reconnection handling, and matchmaking systems.
• Implement robust server-side validation, anti-cheat measures, and fair-play systems to ensure secure and verifiable skill-based gameplay. Validate all player actions server-side to prevent cheating and ensure game integrity.
