Senior Backend Engineer - Core Systems Barcelona

Join our Core Systems domain as a Senior Backend Engineer within the GDPR Team . You will be part of the Reporting layer, where all systems responsible for reporting live and breathe. As one of the early engineers in this growing team—currently composed of two engineers with a new PM joining soon—you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our global banking platform remains compliant and secure.

In this role, you will take ownership of the internal platforms used for GDPR-compliant data retention and deletion across N26. This position offers a unique blend of platform engineering and cross-functional collaboration, where you will map microservices to data types and migrate legacy deletion logic into modern, consolidated systems.

This is a hybrid role from our offices in either Berlin or Barcelona.
