About the Role

You will join a cross-functional team working on building tools, APIs, and integrations for our products. Our backend is built with Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. We use React and Next.js for the frontend, GitLab for version control and CI/CD, and host on AWS.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir
• Proficiency with Postgres or similar databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Github, Jenkins, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React/Vue/Angular

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major projects and cross-team initiatives
• Participate in product development, provide feedback, and suggest improvements
• Maintain understanding of product and engineering domains
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
• Debug, solve issues, and propose platform improvements
• Mentor engineers and participate in hiring, RFC discussions, support rotations
• Design scalable, maintainable APIs

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary ranges from USD 51,850 to USD 116,650, depending on location, skills, and experience. We pay above local rates to support global talent and promote equity.
