Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer (Laravel) with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, secure backend systems and mentoring teams.
Experience
7–10+ years of relevant backend development experience
A minimum of 6+ years of hands-on Laravel experience is mandatory
Tech Stack
- Laravel 10+, PHP 8+
- REST APIs
- My SQL / Postgre SQL
- Vue.js (basic understanding)
Key Responsibilities
- Design & develop scalable REST APIs using Laravel
- Work on backend architecture, performance & security
- Follow TDD and write unit/integration tests
- Collaborate with frontend, Dev Ops & product teams
- Mentor junior developers & lead technical discussions
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Laravel & PHP expertise
- Database design & performance optimization
- PHPUnit / Pest testing experience
- Clean code, SOLID principles
- Good English communication (verbal & written)
Good to Have
- Redis, queues, background jobs
- CI/CD, Docker, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Startup or product-based company experience
