Senior Backend QA Automation Engineer - Freelance

About the Role:

We are seeking a QA Engineer with a strong focus on API automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java and Java Rest Assured for API automation and API framework development . Experience with CRM systems such as Siebel CRM or other similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java .
• API Automation: Design, implement, and execute API tests using Java Rest Assured .
• Framework: Good design skills with API framework development
• Test Execution & Reporting: Conduct automated testing, identify defects, and create detailed test reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks and processes.
• CRM Systems: Leverage knowledge of Siebel CRM or similar CRM platforms for testing automation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in API framework development and API automation with Java
• Experience with Java Rest Assured for API test automation.
• Knowledge of Siebel CRM or other CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes .
• Familiarity with Kafka and Microservices
• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
