Senior Software Engineer in the Scalable Core team, architecting and developing innovative backend services using C# and .NET. Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to coordinate microservices that are scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated into Siemens Energy’s Software Factory framework. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and optimize performance for cloud and edge environments. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and translate stakeholder requirements into robust technical solutions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high‑performance microservices using C# and .NET to support energy management solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of backend services within the Software Factory framework.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Establish and enhance automated testing frameworks to guarantee reliability and quality.
• Deploy and manage services across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premises environments using Kubernetes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a record of delivering high‑quality, scalable microservices.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET development with strong knowledge of microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in implementing automated testing for backend applications.
• Strong communication skills to communicate with partners, interpret requirements, and mentor junior team members.
