About the Opportunity

Inner Circle Agency is partnering with well-known, established teams in the Solana ecosystem to hire Senior Backend Engineers with strong Rust expertise and real production experience.

Our clients are building transaction-heavy, performance-critical systems. They are looking for engineers who think in systems, take full ownership of what they ship, and are comfortable working close to the protocol.

This is a backend and systems-focused role.

Role Overview

As a Senior Backendana Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain production-grade Solana programs and the backend infrastructure that supports them. You will be deeply involved in architecture decisions, performance optimization, and security considerations for live systems used at scale.

You will work alongside senior engineers, product, and infrastructure teams to ship reliable, secure, and scalable Solana-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production Solana programs using Rust
• Own backend and systems architecture for transaction-heavy environments
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs (gRPC, REST) supporting on-chain activity
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for schema design, performance tuning, and debugging
• Implement observability, testing, and benchmarking across systems
• Contribute to security-first development practices in blockchain and financial contexts
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical direction when needed

Qualifications

Required

• Strong, hands-on experience with Rust in production environments
• Proven experience building and shipping Solana programs or dApps
• Deep understanding of backend systems and distributed architectures
• Experience with APIs, multi-service systems, and data-intensive workloads
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ownership mindset with the ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with DeFi protocols or blockchain infrastructure
• Background in fintech, trading systems, or high-throughput platforms
• Familiarity with Solana RPC clients, transaction handling, and on-chain concepts
